Our Tree Services in Coomera
We provide tree services on residential yards, semi-rural land, development sites, and shared properties across Coomera and Upper Coomera. Our services include:
Tree Removal
We can remove trees for several reasons, including personal safety, for construction purposes, or simply because they have died. Rather than relying on an open drop zone, we plan our cutting sequence around homes, sheds, fences and limited access.
Palm and Hedge Trimming
In smaller yards, palms and boundary hedges can quickly outgrow the space. We provide palm and hedge trimming, seed pod removal, shaping and scheduled maintenance that keep them in check.
Tree Lopping and Pruning
Pruning can remove dead limbs and reduce weight in an uneven canopy. It also creates clearance from roofs or driveways. Our team will always aim to address the problem without cutting more of the tree than necessary.
Emergency and Storm Damage
Strong winds on the Gold Coast can split branches, uproot weakened trees and block property access. This can create emergency situations, which we can handle during after-hours and storm-season call-outs. The exception to this is fallen powerlines, which should always be reported to the electricity distributor first.
Stump Grinding
Stumps in your garden can be a real nuisance as they can delay building or landscaping and become difficult to mow around. Our stump grinding service resolves this issue by ensuring it stays below the surface.
Tree Removal Rules in Coomera
Generally, Queensland’s tree removal rules allow private landowners to manage flora on their property. But only when the work complies with council, planning, and environmental laws.
In Coomera and Upper Coomera, the City Plan, a development approval, an environmental covenant, or site-specific conditions may identify protected vegetation. Similarly, clearing might not be an accepted development. Therefore, you may need an operational works application before any cutting begins.
You should also be aware that approval for a new home or subdivision does not necessarily authorise tree clearing. Instead, plans may identify vegetation that must be retained or protected during construction. Additionally, you cannot remove council street trees and vegetation on public land.
If you are unsure of the rules surrounding trees and vegetation on your property, your local council can clarify them.
Trees We Deal With in Coomera
We deal with a range of trees and situations in the Coomera area. This includes the newer neighbourhoods around Foxwell Road, which often have smaller lots where trees sit close to fences and recently built homes.
Elsewhere, Coomera Waters accommodates canal-side and managed estate gardens, while in Upper Coomera, areas such as Highland Reserve and properties near Reserve Road include larger yards and semi-rural edges.
Our team has the expertise and experience to remove dead gums, clear approved vegetation for building work, and prune storm-damaged canopies.
